Centerstage Dance Academy appears on MTV's MADE

TYNGSBOROUGH, Mass. --The recital curtains closed at the end of May but the dancers of Centerstage Dance Academy are still dancing about with joy after a whirlwind of excitement has kept the studio on its toes since the beginning of 2008.

In March, the award-winning studio was contacted by MTV to participate in their hit TV show, "Made." The show that depicts high school students struggling to achieve their dreams chose Centerstage's dancing director, Kathy Coughlin, to help "coach" a young lady from Chelmsford to become a model. "It was a team effort," says Kathy. "The Centerstage Dancers offered support and friendship as the "Made" student attended ballet classes to work on balance and confidence for her debut on the catwalk!"

"…Ballet instructor Justyn Thoren said the reasons for Coughlin's success are threefold; staying current in the field by attending seminars regularly, getting involved in her students' lives even beyond the studio's walls and now, having a beautiful facility."

"She (Coughlin) said it is important to her that students be good role models and successful in life, not just dance, after they leave her studio."

Best dancing school! Centerstage Dance Academy is the best! The teachers are excellent. You walk away from there knowing your money is well spent. I come from a background of dance. We have tried most studios in the area. Nothing can even come close. Look no further!

Can't wait to get back! Dancing at Center Stage is fun and exciting. The teachers are all very nice. The classes are organized and well controlled. Theres even a program for young children!
